Hi ross, good for you, helping a friend in need and standing beside them when they are in this storm is saying a lot about you. I wish I was more help on the insurance area, we were just told by our insurance what they would pay for and what they would not, our rehabilitation provider went to bat for us and helped us get more days in inpatient rehab, but it came to a end way to soon even with them helping with it. As far as the benefits from the state and SS. Ect. And still getting a pay check each state I'm sure has limits, same with SS. You will have to start by setting up appointments with each agency to get all the info, its better to have the person that you are helping there or do a phone meeting with them. This is no fast thing and expect to get turn down the first time around, you will have to figure out how and what they will have to do to meat then limits. We.are still new to this to, are you a full team care giver?

Hi everyone, my name is Robert, I am a full time care giver to my wife that is a C4,5 quad. She was injured in a car accident in July of 2016. We are livestock farmers and I am a estamator for a small electric Co. I'm here for care giver support and to learn. We also milked cows and sold milk from our farm before the wreck.

Hi Robert, like you, I am here to learn how to support a friend who has recently been injured, C4-C5 in October. I am looking for information on how to get the most from insurance and getting days in rehab paid for. Not sure what disability benefits a person who still draws a paycheck is eligible for. Many questions about seeking help locally in day rehab, or seeking rehab via a 'live in' program. Any help you've already come across, please share. Thanks
