I am grateful for Laura, Robin, Sharon, Jean and all the other hard-headed women who taught me pride in my disability - how to advocate, live, write, love and be free. You have been and will remain my strongest mentors and greatest gifts. You gave me a voice and showed me how to use it. May we all walk in Laura's footsteps and get Proud By Practicing.
