Congratulations Kristina on your weight loss! Keep up the positive attitude and I have no doubt you will reach your goal weight. I on the other hand am under going gastric bypass surgery next month. Unfortunately I was 75 lbs over weight when I suffered my injury and have gained an additional 25 lbs in the last 3 yrs. I am very nervous about the surgery but look forward to the independence losing weight will give me! Good luck on your journey! I know you will succeed!

What a true look at the beginning of our lives as paralyzed individuals. I can remember those exact feelings. You are a great poet! I am only 3 1/2 yrs post injury and consider myself a newby but I too wish I could go back to my newly injured self.
