Discussion forums are new to me

Hi my name is Raylene, I'm lost. I'm currently on Medicaid. I have a PCA for 30 hrs a week. Medicaid is ending the end of July because I am now going to be receiving SSDI. My ex husband lives with me and helps but, can be verbally abusive. Once my benifits stop i will have no help. Medicare will not be available until October 2018. I have Myelomalacia and my paralysis is progressing rapidly. Is it common to contemplate ending it? I'm tired of the fight in every aspect of my life.

Hello Raylene! My name is Joshua and I am currently in the same boat that you are in... most of my life, I have dealt with depression and the "end" thought. Now I am coming up to the second anniversary of my accident and I find my thoughts drifting towards a dark path. I have started looking for groups and forums to find people like me, so that I can just chat. Luckily I stumbled upon this, and see a shimmer of hope through the shadows. I think it is interesting that your message was the first I saw here when your concerns are the ones racing through my mind! We are here! And there is always someone out there with like minded ideas, dreams and hopefully hope!
