I slipped and fell

I slipped and fell

Hi all,

I work in a shoe manufacturing factory. There was some other construction work going on there as a part of their renovation works. So, all the raw materials were lying piled up there. The floor was also wet. I hadn’t noticed that. I slipped and fell on the floor and injured my spinal cord.
I have been told to take rest for at least 2 months. I will not be able to work for so many days. So that means no income as well . My friends told me that I could sue my employer because they had not kept any sign board indicating the wet floor. So with the help of a slip and fall injury lawyer, I can seek compensation from them for the ongoing care and hospital expenses and also for the loss of income.

What extra care should I take now? I want to recover soon. I can’t imagine lying on the bed for so many days because I am a very restless person. I have no idea how to manage things.
