My sad Halloween story.

My sad Halloween story.

This year I went out in a psychologist costume. You know, cotton pants and a white shirt with a conservative tie. I also had a mask with a psychologist face-that serious yet concerned face. (Psychologists learned that face in graduate school and we practice over and over)

Anyway, I was in the mood for candy this year, so off I went in my wheelchair and psychologist costume. So here's the sad part-when people open their doors and saw me, I either got a laxative or a catheter! Except one woman gave me a book entitled: "Quadriplegics Who Love Too Much".

So after a difficult evening, I got home with no candy. So I found a nice kid who was willing to exchange a Snickers bar for a catheter.

Boy, it's tough on those streets!
