ACDF means anterior cervical discectomy with fusion which means i have a plate with eight locking screws holding my neck together.thank god cause it worked. its been six months since my accident and i can walk i lost feeling in my arms and hands and i also have tramatic brain injury so its hard to tell what is causing my paralysis. the left side of my body is the most affected so i think its a combination of TBI and SCI. I'm 51 and i can say i;ve enjoyed my life and i'm not going to let this get the best of me if i can help it. sorry to hear you are a complete. I was totaly paralized from the neck down for 2 months staring at the ceiling that was not to enjoyable. are you in a rehab ? i wish you the best and hope to hear from you again. i might not answer right away but i will always reply thanks again LoriK
