Caregivers, the men and women who care for family members and loved ones, play a vital role in the lives of people with paralysis. Share the challenges and the joys, or just sound off.
I can refer you to a friend whose husband was having the same problem. She took him to New York to use a Quadriciser. After a 3 day visit to the clinic, he was able to hold his head up and swallow on his own. She would be happy to speak with you regarding his improvements. By the way, these improvements were documented with photos as well.
Thank you, I would really like to talk to her. Let me know to give you or her my phone number and/or e-mail address.
I am interested in the quadriciser as well! My brother has a partially paralyzed esophagus and was recommended to eat puréed food, but he still gets choked and aspirates about half of the food/water he ingests, but still refuses to eat puréed food. He finally agreed to eat chopped up food and says he'll eat smaller bites ( although he rarely ever does). I'm just happy that he has a great cough reflex! Best of luck and many prayers for you! Take care! :-)
