    Items Needing a Good Home
    By carriep
One week ago I lost my husband, his battle to deal with his tetroplegia was difficult and I miss him, but he's at peace. This site has been amazing for the last 20 months and I am forever greatful. There are a few items I would like to pass on if people are in need: 2 - stylist, 1 - 12", 1 - telescoping, Inglis House Drink-Aid for wheelchair, a wrap around fork and spoon. These items were not over used, there just wasn't enough time...but I would love if they went to a good home. We also have a side loading wheelchair van that's in good shape.  I in the year that we owned it we put less than 1000 miles, if anyone is in Ohio looking for a van, this maybe an option.

    Hi Carrie,
We are newly injured-entering 6 months soon. We just got back from rehab hospital a week ago and now we are settling into this new life. We are interesting in the van even though we live in Colorado. Can you send us photos and more info-make and model of the van, mileage, etc.? Also, what is the price you are asking? We are also interested in the wrap around fork and spoon.
Please reply to me at beth@yestreecounseling.com

My name is Beth and my partner is Michael and he is the one with tetraplegia.
    Thanks!!!
    Beth

    Hello,
First of all, I am sorry for your loss, you have my condolences, but I am sure you feel he is in a better place with the good Lord.  I am not in Ohio, although I was born there, my home is in Florida but I have been in Memphis, Tenn at the Med since October 9, 2012 with my son who had an auto accident. Broke C6 and C7, a tetreplegic (Quadraplegic). We will be in need of a wheelchair accessible van and everything else really. My son should be discharged in a week or so.( we are praying)  Wings of Hope is flying him to FLa  on a medical plane with medical staff for free....Thank God and God Bless them.

My husband is 64 and  disabled (heart) and I am 62. We are going to take  care of him and  my youngest grandson. My son is 37 and has 6 kids from 9 to 20.

Would you mind emailing me  with the price? We would be able to get the van to Fla. The good Lord willing at zt1950@yahoo.com please.
