    The SCI Sisterhood

Check out our new guest blog post from Well Spouse.  Well Spouse is a great online support organization for the "well" spouses of people with physical disabilities or chronic illnesses.

Also, do you think a spouse or partner should be a caregiver?  Please share your thoughts here or on FacingDisability's Fourm.

Well Spouse is really a great group.  I would encourage all partners caring for an ill spouse to take a look and join the group and the discussions.

Well Spouse does have a significant online presence but offers so much more.  Some areas have local support groups.  The organization hosts several respite retreats in various locations around the country.  Additionally there is a national conference each year.  This year’s conference was in Atlanta.  I went to the conference last year in Princeton, NJ.

At the conference I met so many wonderful people.  And of course I found my SCI sisters including the one that wrote the linked blog.  She is an amazing woman and a dear friend now.

Let me know if you have any questions.  I hope to see you on Well Spouse.
