Participate in a Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) study that will evaluate the effectiveness of arm stretches and exercises to preserve shoulder strength and function. SCI participants get an evaluation of arm strength, arm stretches and exercises, up to $400, and a free wheelchair odometer or activity monitor.
Can a shoulder home exercise program protect the shoulders of persons with SCI, and prevent the onset of shoulder overuse injury and pain?

We are looking for persons with SCI who are 18 years old or older, have a SCI that is between 2 and 20 years old, and have relatively pain free shoulders when they begin the study.
