If you are currently a full-time college student who uses a wheelchair, this is one scholarship you are going to want to apply for! Check out this email I received from AmeriGlide:

We’re looking for a full time college student who uses a mobility aid such as a power or manual wheelchair, or a mobility scooter. Our goal with this scholarship is to contribute their education (and through it their future) by offsetting the cost of books and tuition. The scholarship is for $2500 and an ADA compliant AmeriGlide Pool Lift for the college or university the student is attending, which will allow them to comply with new ADA standards.

All of the details and information an applicant would need is on our website, including the online submission form. They can find it through the link here – The AmeriGlide Achiever Scholarship.

Requirements:
-Must be enrolled at an accredited two or four year college within the United States as an undergraduate or graduate student.
-Must have at least one year of college experience.
-Must use a manual or electric wheelchair, or a mobility scooter. (Exceptions on a case-by-case basis)
-Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
-Must complete application and submit response to essay question by May 31st, 2013.
-Must be a legal resident of the United States or hold a valid student visa.
-Must like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, or circle us on Google+.

Apply now!
