Reeve played (superbly) the role of Superman in four movies. He became a quadriplegic following a 1995 horse riding accident and died in 2004. His foundation is dedicated to curing spinal cord injuries. You can Google up the foundation’s web site to read more about it.

Do you really want to do something Superman-like? Forget touchdowns. The best way to do it is to help someone else. I'm just most impressed that even in the sports-frenzy world we live in, it's nice to see people take the time to realize there is more to it than scoring touchdowns.. and this is coming from the avid football fan that I am!
