This is where the staff of the Reeve Foundation is sharing up-to-the-minute information and putting some context around the news affecting the spinal cord injury and paralysis community. Not to mention insight into what's going on here at the Foundation. Feel free to comment and offer suggestions. We'll respond.

Here is a great event and a wonderful model if you are thinking about joining Team Reeve and doing an event for us. Last year was the first one and over 200 people turned out and they raised over $11,000.

On October 6, 2012, the Spinal Cord Injury Association of Washington is hosting its 2nd annual Walk & Roll around Seattle’s Green Lake.

Bring your family, pets, friends! The lake is surrounded by a 2.8 mile paved recreational path that makes a perfect setting for this worthy awareness and fundraising event. All funds raised are split between the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation and the Spinal Cord Injury Association of Washington.

To register or donate please visit us at www.sciaw.org/wr/. We hope you are able to be a part of this event for these wonderful causes!

For questions please contact SCIAW Event Director Cristina Greig at cristina@sciaw.org .
