Chiari Malformation: Causes, Tests, and Treatments. By John Hewitt, M.A., Edited by Michelle Gabata, M.D. Kenrose Media, 2011.

This is an updated, comprehensive guide to understanding Chari Malformation, a rare condition that was first described in 1891 by pathologist, Hans von Chiari. The topics covered range from diagnosis and treatment to what to expect from brain surgery. It includes information about the most recent advancements in research regarding brain structure and genetics primers. Additionally, there is an appendix referencing internet resources and further reading materials.
