Summer reading with the PRC Lending Library

I just finished a reading a book I checked out from the Paralysis Resource Center Lending (PRC) Library. I was about to write a review of how great I thought the book was, I thought I might as well just tell you all about the PRC's Lending Library!
Until Tuesday was written by former Captain Luis Carlos Montalvan and his beloved service dog, Tuesday. (Tuesday was part of a service dog training organization funded by a Reeve Foundation Quality of Life Grant in 2009, East Coast Assistance Dogs!)
The tale of the book outlines so many aspects of their individual lives and ultimately the unbreakable bond they share. It makes me want to run home to my pup that much more, but the best part of all, is I read a bulk of this book over the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Captain Montalvan exhibits why we should hold such respect to those who serve out country. Tuesday is a reminder of the importance of quality of life for these veterans.
If you are in the mood for a really good summer read, I highly suggest the beautiful story of Until Tuesday! (You can check it out from the PRC Lending Library!)
Now on to the PRC Lending Library. Almost 4,000 books, videos, CDs, magazines, and just about anything you would find about paralysis sit right outside my office door. For three years I have walked by these shelves full of extensive resources daily. I've read everything from Christopher and Dana Reeve's books they each wrote, to glancing through children's books, and magazines we have in stock.
Search the PRC Lending Library for resources, DVDs, and just about anything paralysis related!
