Community rallies again for injured brothers

You might recall the story of the Berry family in July which killed the parents and seriously injured two of the children. Here's a bit of an update as Hanukkah nears of brothers Aaron and Peter, who are now living with paralysis from the waist down. The community has greatly come together to help the family.
"We definitely have our ups and downs, which is only normal, but they inspire all of us," Simone Berry said during an interview Friday. "They're doing very well."
After shooting hoops and eating a lunch of chicken and tater tots—though he said he would've preferred grilled cheese—Aaron had an aquatic therapy session, which was part of the four to six hours of therapy each of the boys undergo everyday at Shriners.
During recreational therapy, the boys have been playing basketball most nights since their body braces were removed last week, their aunt said. It was one of the sports they played before the accident, along with football, baseball, tennis and hip hop dancing.
They also paint, color, and keep up to date on schoolwork with a teacher for about an hour each day.
