This is where the staff of the Reeve Foundation is sharing up-to-the-minute information and putting some context around the news affecting the spinal cord injury and paralysis community. Not to mention insight into what's going on here at the Foundation. Feel free to comment and offer suggestions. We'll respond.

I have a weakness for boy bands coming our of Boston (cough, cough, The New Kids on the Block!) While it's not my famed NKOTB, here is your chance to go see another really awesome performance in Boston.

On December 8, check out Kyle Patrick, of the band Click Five at his performance at Q Division Studios with 100% of the proceeds benefitng the Reeve Foundation; Kyle ran the 2011 ING New York City Marathon for Team Reeve in early November. Details from Kyle's webpage below:

Since I haven’t played in Boston in a long time, I wanted my next show in “Bean Town” to be really special. On December 8th, I’ll be doing a concert at Q Division studios, where every Click Five album has been recorded.

We’ll be in the main studio for an acoustic performance AND recording session. Space is limited so it will be a really intimate event, in a very cool environment. The Q team is going to record me, so this show is basically an interactive recording session. I’ve never done this, and I just know it’s going to be so cool.

4. You will receive a final e-mail confirmation from my team with all of the event details. This will serve as your ticket. Be sure to bring a copy with you to the show (hard copy or on your smartphone).

I really do think this will be a special night, and you will be doing an awesome thing by donating to the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. As you may know, I ran the New York City Marathon with them a few weeks ago and it’s a fantastic organization.

Thank you for reading, I can’t wait to make this event happen in your awesome town. Thanks Boston!
