This is where the staff of the Reeve Foundation is sharing up-to-the-minute information and putting some context around the news affecting the spinal cord injury and paralysis community. Not to mention insight into what's going on here at the Foundation. Feel free to comment and offer suggestions. We'll respond.

Arielle (Elle) Rausin is a friend of the Foundation that we have introduced you to several times. In 2003 she was in a car accident and is now living with paralysis from the waist down. (Get to know Elle.)

Elle has gone on to participate in several competitive sports in her home state of Florida. And now this 18-year-old is competing in the Oxygen Network's "The glee Project!" With an incredible passion for the arts and making a difference, Elle is ready to shine!

Have a look at her video entry (she sings one of my favorite songs 'Out Here on My Own' from Fame). Then be sure to like it! I checked that thumbs up button, will you?

Watch the video!
