This is where the staff of the Reeve Foundation is sharing up-to-the-minute information and putting some context around the news affecting the spinal cord injury and paralysis community. Not to mention insight into what's going on here at the Foundation. Feel free to comment and offer suggestions. We'll respond.

There was no better way to commemorate the spirit of community on September 11th than by joining the family and friends of Ryan Rigard for their 5th annual golf outing to benefit the Reeve Foundation. The rain held off, and a record of nearly 100 golfers came out to Pocono Farms Country Club for a day marked by caring and generosity -- and a little friendly competition. Ryan thanked everyone by joining for a few minutes via Skype, and attendees learned about a recent breakthrough in spinal cord injury research.

The event is projected to raise $10,000 to advance the Reeve Foundation's vital work. We appreciate the Rigards and all of your wonderful supporters. Thank you! (Karen and Rich Rigard, parents of Ryan Rigard, pictured)

PS: Speaking of Team Reeve, next it's on to Montana and marathons, right, Ryan!? (No pressure of course!)
