Exercise - time to get motivated
Exercise is good for you. Simple enough idea but not always easy to incorporate into one's everyday activities. I came across a nice
link for a free, personalized, web-based physical activity and nutrition program from our friends at the National Center on Physical Activity and Disability (NCPAD if you're into acronyms) and I encourage you to take a look.
.
Their target audience is people with mobility limitations, chronic health conditions and physical disabilities and their goal is to help you get moving and make healthy nuturition choices.
As my colleague Sam Maddox recently
noted, research shows that, "functional recovery can occur months to years after incomplete spinal cord injury with rehabilitation that involves intensive activity-based therapy." So stay fit, stay healthy and start exercising.
