I recently spoke with a friend of mine about accessible travel for individuals with tetraplegia. He told me that a major concern was medical assistance and caregiver programs. For those of you have a high injury or know of anyone with a cervical injury, what are your/their thoughts regarding assistance when traveling alone? Do you travel alone? Do you research care facilities/resources in the cities you're visiting? This is a very valid concern and one that I'm extremely interested in. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
