You know, I actually find it unbelievable that this matter would even be an issue. These kinds of problems make me crazy, yet I face them every day I leave my home. (All of us with SCI's do I presume.) Whenever I raise an inaccessibility issue, I keep my goal in mind, which is, correcting the problem. Therefore my communication is one of politeness rather than accusatory (though my feelings are accusatory). Yet even then, I've rarely met one person who doesn't get on the defensive, which goes against anything I'm trying to accomplish. This is a great article, Michael. Thank you.
