Has your pet helped you
I wish I knew how to get a photo of my little 5 lb. dog on this site. She knows when I hurt physically and emotionally. She will come lick my hand near my wrist everytime. I might wake up crying at night, trying not to wake up my husband and she is standing right in front of me with her eyes wide open. It is like this dog is everything for me. I cry, she comes and lays her head between my arm and chest. I don't really know what I would do w/o her. To be only 5 pds. 5 ozs., she guards me like a pitbull would barking. She stays right on my legs except when my husband runs an errand, dr. appt., etc.. She gets off my legs, since she is on her "total guard duty" til my husband is back.

Have you tried Methadone for pain? I also watched a special on Current TV or Documentary channel about Floral Aroma therapy. Dr. Judy Griffen used it to cure her crohn's.
Various combinations of fragrance also took a cancer patient doubled over in constant pain on 1-10 scale from a 12 down to a 3. she was unable to use various narcotics.

Do you own a 'Box Seat' yet?
In my opinion, these would not be useful for a paralyzed person, as myself; don't mean to be offensive on the individual who worked tiredlessly for those who can get help sitting on them. Hope others get benefical use from them, n.mizenko
