What are the construction related backgrounds and interests of the members in this group? please share your story.

I appreciate the contacts I have received through the site, as a result our foundation has been able to fund some of the requests received. Meanwhile, I will be following up on our query to an outside group to see if they have interest in offering extended warranties to power wheelchair users.

Joe the only misgiving I have about that is a new electric chair can be purcashed by Medicare every 5 years so an extented warrenty may be hard to come by

We are working With Contracting Business magazine, a major national publication within the HVAC industry, regarding an article about contractors hiring the disabled. The article is targeted to publish in February or March of 2011, will keep this site posted.

We are working with a group (Equiguard) to see if they have interest offering extended warranties for power wheelchairs. We have given them contact information at Invacare Corp. so they can perform their due diligence. We'll report on what happen. s
