We all need to say prayers and send well wishes to those injured. The lives lost especially the 8 year old girl breaks my heart. To all that lost their loved ones you are in our thoughts and prayers. ...

To Be Reborn
This is so incredible and has been written with so much knowledge and feeling. The honesty here is just so moving. We all seem to go to that place. It would be wonderful if we could have been taught or seen this article in the beginning. All the time that was lost for those of us who felt these emotions. There is light at the end of the tunnel! My husband has been a paraplegic for over ten years and this so reminds me of our life. He had feelings of frustrations with everything he did. His attitude was so difficult to deal with and his emotions were all over the place. Learning to live with a disability is a huge challenge but so is life itself. I also had to learn how our future would have to change. If only we all could get a second chance to restart. We had to reinvent who we were and how to get through those difficult days. This foundation and the rehab center, Gaylord Hospital in Wallingford, Ct. where the Ct. Chapter of the NSCIA is based was a great start. The organization gave me their handbook and The Christopher Reeve information. It was a long tough road but there are brighter days ahead. Staying connected to family and friends are a huge part of staying connected to life itself. I found that reaching out and seeking help was also so important. I bought so many books and learned everything that I could. I must say that I without a doubt this reading this would have helped me greatly. Thank you Michael for sharing this here and you will certainly bring hope to so many. The sharing and caring that happens here is priceless.

Reeve Foundation ambassador on "Glee"
Dear Ali, A huge Congratulations to you! What an incredible experience for you. We have so many incredible and awesome people here at this Foundation. Glee is one of my families favorite show. This is just so wonderful and I can't wait. I hope a tape might be made so the people that can't see or record it can view it. This is just so exciting! What a super star! How proud your family and friends must be. DonnaLee
