Very helpful comments Candace. I very much appreciate someone like yourself taking the time to share that story about the hotel you stay in as well as some of George Washington's rules. It's amazing how so many of us forget these simple things that make such an impact. I live in Canada, but my wife and I recently took a holiday to Vegas. We stayed at the Flamingo because it boasted the largest pool on the strip. I was however disappointed to find that they was no accessibility into the pool...until I found a wonderful lady pool manager by the name of Betty. She informed me of a new lift the hotel recently purchased but because I was the first to inquire about accessibility, it had not been charged. She said it would be ready the following day if I still wanted to use the pool. I gladly said yes, and in the meantime, she went out of her way to track down a staff member to assist in lifting me into the pool. Of course, the attention it draws from other pool swimmers is slightly uncomfortable, but the relief of the cool water helped me to quickly forget. We showed up the next day, and Betty was more than happy to assist us with the fully charged lift. It is wonderful to find those that are willing to lend a hand without hesitation.
