The third time absolutely was a charm at this year’s 3d annual Reeve Foundation Chicago benefit, Care. Cure. Comedy. Chicago. 2010. Through the event, our Chicago committee raised over $150,000 and counting to advance the Reeve Foundation’s mission to cure spinal cord injury and care for community members living with paralysis.

This year’s event starring Susie Essman on Christopher Reeve Day in Chicago drew plenty of laughs and hundreds of friends who came to recognize this year’s honorees, Debbie and John Ziegelman and J.J. O’Connor. We deeply appreciate the unwavering commitment of our honorees, co-chairs Kelly Heneghan and Jon O’Connor, leadership committee members, and the many volunteers and donors whose generosity helped make this very special occasion possible. Even friends who could not be there in person helped show support through contributions, journal ads and silent auction prize donations.

We are grateful to all of our Chicagoland supporters for your dedication to the Reeve Foundation’s research and quality of life programs.
